Ok it has been forever since I updated, with good cause. Since I don’t feel like writing anything thought provoking I’m going to write lil blurbs on everything that has happened in the last two weeks.
I spent 4 days in Terre Haute. Pre Foam House Party was fun. Foam Party was really fun. I hit on random hot girls with success, first time I ever hit on random hot girls while sober. I had the annoying habit of walking in to my old room, and then getting very confused all weekend.
I got started on getting letters of recommendations from my contacts. Realized I hate asking people for things like that. Currently, I am several steps closer to Grad school at Iowa. This weekend I do my application, write my letter of intent, and next weekend is GRE time
I started my Mandarin class last week. The teacher is a sweet old Chinese lady who I barely understand. I’ve learned to say Hello, how are you, what is your name, thanks, and excuse me. I feel that I should moved to China now, cause I bet I am proficient enough to get by.
Work has everyone in my department doing mandatory overtime. Hence I am exhausted everyday I get back. Plus my back has been throbbing for the past week so sitting for long periods of time sucks balls. Fortunately I am seeing a physical therapist on Monday.
My desire to buy a new car has become very strong. So as a punishment I emptied half my checking account and bought a bunch of ADM stock. Therefore even with the temptation I can’t afford to do it anyway.
Lots of my friends have been breaking up lately, which is making me sad, especially since I am very out of the college loop at the moment.
People need to stop bitching about facebook. News feeds are not the end of the world.
