I spent sometime looking up apartments today. I figured I am leaving in a week and a half so I should have a good idea of where I am staying when I finally end up back in these parts. First I looked at the really nice ones right by where I worked. This apt is so close I could spit from my cubicle, and if I hit the wind just right, my loogie would splatter against my front door. The cost was a lil more than I wanted to pay though. $600 for a huge apt would be nice, but… I’d rather get a townhouse for a lil more. So I looked at a few other places, and low and behold any place that is in my cheap bastard price range that is still decent in appearance, won’t let me live there. You know why? Cause I’m Jewish, damn bigots… ok maybe not, in reality they won’t let me live there because I make too much money. Yes that’s right folks I am not allowed to live somewhere because I have a good job. How sadistic is that? I was really looking forward to pay 6% of my income towards rent; most likely it’ll have to be around 13% now. *sigh*
