Thanksgiving break was pretty good. Alex and I went to Winona, MN and chilled with some friends there. It was fun and awesome hanging with people from high school again. And I am also amazed at how awesome Katie was at beer pong. Some things just surprise you…
After that…alex and i went to National Treasure, which was a good flick. Not Oscar quality by any sense, but definately entertaining. I went ice skating with my sister and her friend Wednesday morning, then ran up to Minneapolis to play basketball with a buddy at the U of Minn. I was sucking it up in the pickup games we played, but did ok in “1 on 1”. Ryan beat me 2 out of the three, but at least i snuck one game in there.
Thankgiving was low key, with just my aunt and uncle over. Colts rocked on to victory, which i was happy about (but certainly not surprised). We played ultimate frisbee on Friday. It was 34 degrees and raining, but super fun nonetheless. Lots of diving or slidding catches…gotta show your stuff here and there! We chilled at Chrisk’s house friday…playing a little blackjack and poker. Lost $3 in blackjack, but I won the Texas tournament, getting $25 profit.
Saturday…I went shopping a bit, then worked on homework for a while. Played Risk with the family…see, my family spending time together just doesn’t happen that much, so it was fun just to have everyone there.
Sunday, studied more and came back to school…and that was that!
I’m glad that there is only a couple weeks left of school. There is very little that could have caused this week to start off more shitty than it has…luckily it seems that things are turning around a bit. So much going on right now, both academically and personally that i can’t keep any of it straight…
On a good side though, i did get an A+ on a paper that the rest of the class did pretty bad on, so that was pretty sweet! I was super happy about that.
That’s it for now. The semester is almost over (except for you Rose people who are just starting). Good luck to everyone, either with finals or the new quarter. It’s almost over…
