Wow, things have honestly been really good lately. First of all, i got to chill with a good friend while watching the presidential debate last week. I haven’t been spending as much time with her as i should be, so it was nice. We were joking the entire time, and making fun of them the entire time. I am a political science major (yes, it’s easy compared to you Rose engineers, but too bad!), and i would say that I was only semi-satisfied with the debate. Although Kerry did come off more confident and much more charasmatic than Bush, his lack of detail hurt him, at least for me. He kept saying “I have a plan for blahblahblah, and for blahblah, and for blah…” Could you give me a clue?? I’m looking forward to the debate tomorrow night between the ever boring, yet extremely smart Dick Cheney, and the bright eyed, smiling, rookie John Edwards. 8:00 central time for those interested…
What else was cool…
My best buddy just became an uncle to another child. He has a niece, and now a little nephew as of Saturday. Congrats to you Devin…little Joe is so screwed with you being apart of his life.
I’d have to admit that Devin and I have become such awesome friends…we have actually been friends for less than a year, and been great friends for less than 8 months. But this kid is amazing, because i can talk to him about anything and everything. I know that i can say that there is not another feeling in the entire world as knowing that someone cares about you at all times. If i’m sad, he’s there…if i’m happy, he’s there…truely an amazing kid and an even better friend… I’m moving to northern Iowa once i graduate. Ok, maybe we’ll just see what happens and deal with that later…
This weekend was nice. I went home and just chilled. Worked on a lot of homework and still had plenty to do when i got back, but it was nice to see everyone. Went to the apple orchard with my mom and sisters, so now i have the most delicious apples in my fridge. Seriously, it was so perfect out there. The weather was cold, yet sunny. A slight breeze and the beautiful countryside…i didn’t want to leave. I can honestly see myself moving away from the Cities when i get older. I mean, i love St. Paul and Minneapolis, but i don’t know if i can be there forever… again, something we’ll see about.
Lastly, i got my new CD today. It’s by a band called “Edgewater”. Seriously check them out.
go halfway down and click on listen to all. I love ’em. So good! It took almost three weeks for me to get it though, because i bought it on ebay from someone in United Kingdom. My roommate of course was a littled worried that the cd would be in their language. I just looked at him and said “United Kingdom…english??” He saw his dumb mistake, but that’s why i love my roommate…keeps thing interesting!
So i know alex probably doesn’t like me writing books, and most won’t be reading this far, but peace out!
