Thanksgiving this year was different. Instead of going somewhere I actually had family come to me. I was able to show off the new house to My sister and my mom, and I got a chance to meet my new lil nephew Dillon. We did thanksgiving two days early but it was nice cause there was a lot less stress involved. Beth cooked the turkey, and did a great job considering everyone in the house had zero experience doing it. I carved the Turkey and did a job similar to that of the Leatherface in Texas Chain Saw Massacre, but we made it and good times were had by all.
Later than week we went to a great art exhibit and the Cedar Rapids art museum. First off who knew Cedar Rapids had an art museum. Second who knew it was as nice as it was. It like some really rich corn field owner had a ton of money and said what the hell lets build an art museum. At the museum there was an exhibit on the Flood this year. It had some amazing pictures that really showed the humanity of the floods.
Besides that Thanksgiving was fairly non eventful. I managed to avoid doing all my HW so I’m sure that will bite me in the ass. Never again will I take two classes at the same time eesh.
a lot less stress involved? for who? for you because you were at work? …not so true for me!
