First off, I have to share a recruiter for Nintendo reached out, I’d argue the coolest company that has ever reached out to me. I thought how cool it would be to work at Nintendo, then remembered 1) Video Game jobs are the passion jobs where Corporate America takes advantage of software engineers 2) I already work for a company that makes video games… it would not be hard literally at all to switch into that division, and again see point number two. So alas I shall keep my job at Microsoft.
Speaking of current job holy crap has it been on fire lately. I woke up to 26 new teams messages this week. It’s been literally go go go for weeks now. We are getting closer and closer to finishing up all my projects for the fiscal quarter, but holy crap has it been a lot. Thinks I’ve been driving. Releasing copilot to the Government. Releasing copilot to the extra special government. Releasing Copilot to a broader global audience. Releasing copilot to Office.com. Creating a unified experience for admins in all of these environments. Phew I’m done this is exhausting. Definitely, need a nap and a promotion.
In other news, Ella is talking more and more. Loves to yell “Fall Down” and they land on her butt which is hilarious. She’s a bundle of delightful energy always ready to party. Just waiting for her walking to be a bit more consistent so I can take her on adventures. Still a huge temper when she’s not fed IMMEDIATELY. Teddy loves solo swim class, he’s becoming a proper kid before my eyes. I love that once in the life vest he just kicks his way away from the class to go exploring. He has peek Bilbo Baggins “I’m going on an Adventure!” vibes. Either way my crazy kids on daily basis continue to demonstrate how they are my genetic offspring, and I must frequently apologize to their mother for this.
