So I made my first trip to Passover in a few year last weekend. I had been avoiding it because 1) it was poorly timed during the week and 2) Going without Beth felt wrong. Fortunately the time had come and I made the journey. It was great! It really made me appreciate how great family can be. Everyone is so different in my family it inspires and confronts me and I love it. I can never ease up, but everyone is so smart and so kind we can have open conversations. I feel eternally gifted to have my crazy Jewish family. We got to play risk with the youngens, pass on a very special tradition. It so fun to see Max and Simon grow older. I wonder if they know I lived with them when they were just tiny ones.
Work has gotten a lot better in the last couple weeks. I feel like I have purpose again. I’m working on the code for my teams main project. I’m not sure how great my progress is but I feel as if I’m learning something new everyday and that’s what really matters. Oh and I totally leave for Germany in 3 days w00t! Just remember if the unforseen happens my Sister Victoria gets everything 🙂
