I went to Colorado. It was a great place. While I wrote the last two sentences, I took a step back and hated myself for the utter boringness that I can produce in my writings. Instead I should open up with… The misses and I journeyed over the desolate Midwest, through the no man’s land of Nebraska to the peaks of Colorado. The state is like nothing I have ever seen; It had a Midwest mentality, but a high altitude landscape. Those are a little better.
Anyway we stayed in Denver with Beth’s uncle. I felt that Denver has two sides to it. On one hand it’s this gorgeous diverse place with beautiful culture oozing from its pores, but on the other hand I felt there was too much urban sprawl. Also the row after row of identical middle class housing was dreary. I still think I could live there but I would have to be in an older neighborhood with a bit of character. The food was great, even though I never got to try the Tibetan food I was hankering for. We saw fireworks, breweries, and hippies. We drove up 12,000 feet to the top of a mountain on a dirt road, barely wider than the car. Overall it was a good vacation.
I’m not gonna lie; that was the best opener to a blog entry I have ever read. Ever.

Wait does this mean it was a good opening? Cause I was really just doing stream of thought like usual. And Kenny by proofread do you mean rewrite, cause that’s a much more accurate description.

Yeah the row and row of sepfordish type housing is a little ugh. That is why the areas between Boulder and Denver are nicer, they actually have older neighborhoods with guess what? Trees.
