Angkor what was great but after awhile temples get a bit old. We had to have climbed through half a dozen of ancient ruins before I was done learning anything about Buddha. It was very massive and impressive. Inpiring even. But it was hot and dirty and full of tourist. Definitely a thing to do once, but probably never again.
I loved Siem Reap We went to a bar called Angkor What and had an amazing time. Love the sketchy dancing and cheap drinks. We also had awesome mexican food. Which is probably the best mexican food I’ve ever had. After I left Siem Reap we took a 180km stretch to thailand on a fucking dirt road. OMG it was hell. I was so happy when I made it to Thailand where everything was paved. Sadly I got a rash litterally 3 minutes in to Thailand what an awesome welcome.
