W00t I bought my plane ticket. It looks like I will be missing work for a month next Christmas. I totally love my job because I can miss a month of work and only partially be considered to get my ass fired. My Itinerary will be as follows leave Thursday Dec 20 Arrive in NYC. Crash at my sisters for the night and get my last breath of America. December 21st Fly To Hong Kong and then on to Hanoi (That’s in Vietnam for our globally challenged), Arrive there on the 23rd. Am I the only one who finds it sad that I will be spending two straight days on a plane… Once in Hanoi I’ll spend until 11th on my tour through Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. Once the tour ends Schroeder and I are going to ride some over packed Thai train to a resort island along the coast, most likely Ko Samet, where we’ll sit on the beach for 4 days and soak up some sun. Then I’ll fly Back on the 16th and spend the next few days hanging out with my sister in New York City. Finally I’ll end up back in Iowa refreshed and so well traveled that I’ll feel Iowa is an exotic location.
