It’s hot outside… really really freaking hot. Do I mind? Not really, besides the fact that I am weary of going for 40 mile bike ride this weekend, sitting in my temperature controlled apartment, the heat doesn’t really bug me. Looking at a weather map though, its looks like 70% of America is suffering 90’s or 100’s. It seems like all over the world people are experiencing severe heat and sea levels rising. Also don’t forget about the permafrost that is melting; The permafrost that has been around since the last ice age. Many older people love to spew out bullshit about how the climate is cycling and that high temperate like this happen periodically. This maybe true, but with what is occurring right now, that seems damn near impossible. Look at the increases over the past century. Now it would take a fool to see our exponential increase in industrialization and not be able to connect it with a rise in temperature and greenhouse gas. So please if you are going to talk to me about the conspiracy of global warming, go yell at a brick wall, because that will be about as receptive to your dumbass claims. Generally speaking it’s the scientist (the people who actually know stuff) who say this threat exists, and the politicians (The people who aren’t willing to sacrifice lower prices and our massive luxury) who are against it. But if this trend continues our little planet of paradise will become pretty shity.
