I’m exhausted. Fortunately it’s a good kind of exhausted. As many of you know I have been planning banquet for the spring class this year, so for the past several days I have been running around with my head chopped off, in a state of quasi panic, hoping nothing gets screwed up. At 7 o’clock on Saturday evening, Banquet began. It went perfectly; I don’t think I could complain about one thing the entire night. The DJ was great. Security, as I suspected, was completely unnecessary. The food was divine. Lots of prime rib and deserts makes me happy. More importantly, when the time came for me to instruct the staff on what to do, how to do it, and when to do their thing, I was flawless. I never missed a beat. The only thing I was sad about was that Jenny Lane, one of my most favoritest DG’s ever didn’t win Dream Girl. Now the girl who did win is the most amazing person ever too, but she was only a freshman, and would have lots of opportunities after this year, as opposed to Jenny who is graduating soon. Anyway my date was wonderful and stunning. We had such a great time dancing; I think we only paused twice in three hours. We both came back from banquet completely exhausted and practically passed out 20 minutes after arrival.
The next day I woke up, said goodbye to Kristi, and headed over to the Greek Games. Pikes had a decent run. We placed second in practically every event. Unfortunately, we got second in pyramid again… I was really hoping to score first, but Delta Sig pulled through. In our defense, based on our current strategy, I don’t think we could have done any better. We got it up in 9.12 seconds. Here is the link if you want to check it out…
