Its been a while since I’ve posted a puzzle so here goes…
Persons A, B, and C are about to engage in a three-way duel. When it is aperson’s turn, they get one shot. A has a 30% chance of hitting his target, B nevermisses and C has a 50% chance of hitting her target. If the duel proceeds by first A,then B, then C (and then keep going as necessary) then what should A’s strategy befor the first shot and what is A’s chances of winning the duel. Obviously, someonewho is shot is out of the game
